The Ordsall Chord was completed in December 2017. This improves connectivity of New Bailey by providing direct links from Salford Central Station to Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport.

The Developer English Cities Fund (ECf) was created by the UK government to increase levels of private investment in UK’s towns and cities.
