Our Bear Den

News from the Cave …………….Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…………..

We are enjoying the new boys in our den! They are very well behaved and a lot of fun! Below you will find our weekly den meeting schedule. IF you participate in the den meeting AND complete the assigned homework, you will have completed the achievements listed. We will try our best to adhere to this schedule but please check ScoutTrack to verify what has been completed. REMEMBER: Bears can wear their “bear” shirt to DEN meetings each week – but they will need to come to monthly PACK meetings in regulation uniforms!

Calendar 30-March Activity: Den T-Shirts Part 1. Pinewood Derby Car Designs. Homework: OPTIONAL: Attend the Ward Family activity on Friday, April 1 and learn about our solar system. (This will be a fun kick off for our Astronomy belt loop!) Achievements: Beginning Requirement 21 – Build a Model. (You will complete this requirement at home by building your Pinewood Derby Car!) 6-April Activity: Den T-Shirts Part 2. Make a Bird Feeder. Homework: Hang up your bird feeder! Achievements: Requirement 5a to finish “Sharing your World with Wildlife” 13-April Activity: Astronomy Belt Loop. Homework: Complete the Taking Care of your Planet Worksheet – This should be completed AT HOME WITH MOM or DAD Achievements: Requirement 21a, b, g 20-April Activity: Build a display for your Pinewood Derby Car. Character Connection for Resourcefulness. Homework: Get that Pinewood Derby Car ready for racing next week! Achievements: Partial Disabilities Awareness Belt Loop Requirements met 28-April Pack Meeting: PINEWOOD DERBY!!!
