We’re excited to announce that a Call for the new Senior Pastor of FOC has been extended to Pastor Kristopher Morris! Pastor Morris has up to four weeks to accept or return the Call after his prayerful discernment. We will provide updates as the final stages of this process progress!
TRI-LAKES CARES FOOD DRIVE FOC is collecting non-perishable food items to support Tri-Lakes Cares on Sundays, November 5, 12, & 19! Lists of needed items will be provided. Please drop off your donations in the Cafe fellowship room.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS Songs of the Christmas Story: All kids ages 3 years - 6th Grade are invited to be a part of FOC’s Children’s Ministry Christmas Program on Sunday, December 17, at 10:00 am during the worship service. “Songs of the Christmas Story” lessons and practice will be held during Kids 3:11 on Sundays, November 12, November 19, December 3, & December 10. GIVING TREES
Join us for worship this Christmas season! Sunday, December 24 Christmas Eve Candlelight Services 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm
The Giving Tree (sponsored by Tri-Lakes Cares and Lutheran Family Services) is an annual program where we can help families in need. You will find gift wish lists on the ornaments decorating each tree at FOC— located in the hallway near the SE Wing and in the Cafe. This Christmas season, make a difference in someone’s life through this program! • Take an ornament for each gift you would like to purchase. • All donated items should be new and should not be wrapped. • Attach the gift ornament to each gift and place it in the drop boxes near the trees. (Wrapping paper donations are also welcome.) • Please return gift donations to FOC for LFS by Wednesday, December 5. (Tri-Lakes Cares gift tags will be delivered soon!)
CHANCEL CHOIR FOC’s Chancel Choir is starting back up on Wednesday, November 8! If you didn’t join them back in August, but are interested in singing for the Christmas season, it’s not too late. Please join them for rehearsals weekly on Wednesdays in the Family Life Center at 6:30 pm.
