Ribbon Cutting: Desert View Eye Care The Green River Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Desert View Eye Care’s new building on September 27, 2016! Desert View Eye Care has been providing quality eye care for the entire family since 2006. Experts in comprehensive vision care, we provide routine preventative care to help keep your eyes healthy, and assist you when ocular problems do arise. We are always on hand to answer any questions you may have about your vision or ocular health. November Lunch and Learn Join us for our November Lunch and Learn held on Wednesday the 16th at noon at the Hampton Inn in Green River. The Hampton Inn will be catering, please RSVP by Monday, November 14th by 10:00 AM. Sweetwater County Legislatures will provide a legislative update and forecast what the biggest issues will be during the 2017 Legislative session as well as answer audience questions. We do ask that you RSVP for each Luncheon to the Green River Chamber by

The Green River Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Complete Chiropractics on September 27, 2016! Dr. Smith has three massage therapists on his staff; he offers a variety of Chiropractic Services. Dr. Smith mentioned that he has a background different than other chiropractors in the area, he performs research based Chiropractic’s. His business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am – 6 pm (by appointment until 8 pm) Saturdays by appointment. The new location is 170 Commerce Dr. Suite A, Green River, WY 82901. Adopt-A– Tree

It’s that time of year again. Christmas is almost here! The trees along Uinta Drive are ready to be adopted and decorated for the holidays starting Tuesday, November 1st. Trees cost $35 each and we will accept cash, check, or credit card. There will be a 5% fee on all credit card transactions. There are a limited number of trees, so adopt one fast! All trees are on a firstcome, first-serve basis.

Trees on Uinta Drive need to be decorated with small lights only. You may also have a 24”X24” sign next to the tree. NO ornaments, ribbon, garland, or other decorations are allowed. You may start decorating your tree between November 14th & December 5th. A traveling trophy and cash will be presented to the best decorated tree. Cash and prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place trees. Each tree will have a stake with a corresponding number to help you pick your favorite one.

Support Your Own– The Chamber of Commerce offers “Chamber Gift Certificates” in any denomination for a small fee of 50 cents each. Gift certificates are redeemable at any business in Sweetwater County and can be used just like cash! Stop by the Green River Chamber at 1155 W Flaming Gorge Way or call 307-875-5711 ahead of time and we will have them ready for you!!

They have new pumps to service RV's and Trucks, a dumping station for RV's and they have renovated the interior of their business. We love the beautiful new grass and their new sign!! This is a wonderful sight on the corner of two of the busiest streets in Green River! Congratulations and thank you Maverik!!

Sweetwater County School District Grant Funding Sweetwater County School District #2 receives $300,000 in grant funding The Tesoro Foundation Board of Directors approved a $300,000 grant for Monroe Intermediate Middle School to support the STEM enrichment program. Tesoro and Tesoro Foundation are committed to collaborating with their stakeholders to create cleaner, safer, well-educated communities where they operate. They said they are proud to support Monroe Intermediate School and its mission to promote learning for all.
