SPECIAL CALLED BUSINESS MEETING TODAY | Following the service There will be a special called business meeting to vote on the Network Service Committee nominations. Children’s Ministry candidate vote has been postponed.

Thank you for your prayers! As many of you know I have had some complications following my knee surgery a couple weeks ago but hope to be on the road to recovery soon. Special thanks to Jonathan Cofer for filling in for me today, I know he will have a good word for you. I appreciate our staff for all they continue to do to serve you and our community. Special Called Business Meeting Today We need to have another called business meeting today following the service to vote on the nominations from the Network Service Committee. The vote on the Children’s Ministry candidate, Suzy Tarver, has been postponed per the Personnel Committee due to the loss of Suzy’s father. Please keep the Tarver family in your prayers. A meet and greet fellowship will be announced for a later date. Dedication Celebration – September 13 Our new Children’s Building is almost complete. We should be getting the Certificate of Occupancy within the next couple of weeks. We are planning a special day of celebration and dedication on Sunday, September 13:

 9:30 am – Celebration open house and dedication in the Children’s Building (large room)  11:00 am – Worship service in the Worship Center

Foster Care & Blessing Bags

BLESSING BAGS Now thru September 27th We will be filling 50 Foster Care bags and 100 Blessing bags for the homeless. Please check out our website under ‘Events’ for more information. LABOR DAY Monday, September 7 The Church offices will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. BUILDING DEDICATION CELEBRATION September 13 | 9:30am | Bldg. D Join us as we celebrate the opening of our new Children’s Building! Special tours, meet the teachers, refreshments and more. Then we’ll have one Worship Service together at 11:00 in the Worship Center. WEDNESDAY FAMILY NIGHTS Starting on September 16th from 6-7 pm. More information and a list of classes will be available soon at www.wcbc.us/ wednesday-family-nights/ Wednesday meals will begin at 5:00pm, contact the church office for reservations.
