Has there ever been a moment where you were looked down on, made fun of, or mocked for your faith in Jesus? If so, how did it happen?

GETTING INTO THE SCRIPTURES

As we have been getting in to the book of Daniel, it has challenged us and helped us all to grow in our faith. Please take some time to dig into the part of Daniel’s life where he was thrown into the lion’s den and discuss how it demonstrates how we can live our lives for the glory of God. Please have several people in the group read Daniel 6:1-28 together and have them answer the following questions as they work through the passage: Ã What impresses you about Daniel in this passage? Ã What are your observations of Darius as this passage unfolds? Ã What do we learn about God through this passage?

After wrapping up the previous questions, takt time to shift into more practical application questions about what this looks in like in our culture: Ã

Daniel’s desire was to bring God glory no matter the circumstances. How do we go about bringing God glory in our everyday lives? If we want to bring God greater glory with our lives with the things that we talked about in the previous question, how would we go about seeing those things changed in our lives? We have spent four weeks now learning from the life of Daniel and his friends. What has God impressed on you the most in our time with Daniel?
