NOVEMBER 2014 MISSIONS PRAYER AND PRAISE CALENDAR
Please pray for the Mission 1:8 emphasis as Dr. Robert Jeffress leads our church family to transform our world with God’s Word, one life at a time. November 2 & 9 - Return your filled bag to the table in the CC Lobby or the tables on the Concourse between the Worship Center and Criswell Center. Our church family is partnering with three of our local churches (El Buen Pastor, El Calvario and Lake June Baptist Church) to provide Thanksgiving dinner for neighborhood families. Through your generous giving, we will furnish each family a New Testament and a voucher for a turkey. When the filled bags are distributed in the target neighborhoods, we will also pray over the families and hand them information on the mission church in their vicinity. Pray for Pastor Halliday and the members of Keystone BC as they minister and witness to the large number of children that live in the neighborhoods surrounding their combined location. Pray for Keystone as they work towards establishing Sunday School classes for all ages.

Pray with Crossroad Church as they revisit “Who We Are” as a congregation and disciples for Christ: 1. God is our Father and we are His Family. 2. Jesus is our Lord and we are His Disciples. 3. The Holy Spirit is our Guide and Sender and we are His Disciple-Makers (missionaries sent to make disciples who make disciples).

Pray they will reach hearts that have been prepared to listen to the message they lovingly bring. Pray for God’s providence in travel, safety and health.

Security is always a big issue here. Please pray for the Lord’s protection over local partners and believers as well as protection over the leadership and pastoral training classes.

A religious leader from another area stood at a gathering, over a loudspeaker, forbade the people to listen and accused those “changed ones” of being heretics. The people stood against this man and appealed to a higher official for permission to continue. The accuser subsequently announced from the loudspeaker that the “changed ones” were telling the truth and that the audio New Testament was indeed a Holy Book. The believers are rejoicing. Their friends and neighbors are now asking for audio Bibles.

Once a month The Pathway Church hosts a concert of prayer, where there will be singing, Scripture reading and targeted prayer specifically for the people of the city of Tacoma, Washington.

Pray for the salvation of influential leaders in Afghanistan. Pray that God will open the hearts of political, tribal and community leaders. Pray for believers to find open doors into the lives of powerful people. Pray that leaders will come to understand and accept Jesus’ identity as the Son of God and believe, repent, and submit to His Lordship in their lives.
Praise God for JMCD’s location in their strategic area at 3800 Carbon Rd, Irving, TX 75038. Pray for the congregation as they welcome visitors and members as a result of the location God has provided.

Over 1000 bags will be delivered in the communities near three of our local churches: El Buen Pastor, El Calvario and Lake June Baptist Church. Pray for divine appointments and hearts that are prepared to hear the Gospel and accept the saving grace of our Lord.

Epic Life Church’s Staff Retreat will focus on vision and goals in accord with Church Development, Community Development and Church Planting. The vision will be cast and the goals presented to the church body in November.
Crosstrain Kids: Children are a vital part of the church. They are the church, a precious responsibility and privilege, the future of the church, the city and the world. We believe parents are primarily responsible to train and disciple their children. We are committed to supporting parents as they seek to raise their children to know and follow Jesus.

PRISON MINISTRY CHAPLAIN ROB D’ANDREA
Pray for our church to fully engage in the Angel Tree program this year. Pray the Lord, through our congregants, will bring in the desired resources and people to deliver gifts and the message of the Gift of everlasting life to at least 150 children in Dallas. Pray that this Angel Tree effort would yield new believers in Christ, new members, and strengthen relationships between our church and the local community. For more information email

PRISON MINISTRY CHAPLAIN ROB D’ANDREA
Pray more volunteers will join in with Chaplain Rob to visit inmates at Dallas County Jail in a one on one capacity, to minister and listen to them, to share the gospel, and build relationships that could foster into discipleship opportunities. Pray that many in Dallas County who are being equipped by this ministry would continue to lead fellow inmates in Bible studies.

IMB: DEAF PEOPLES
Among the Deaf peoples, the Good News is reaching into new places and people are meeting the Son! In Mexico, leaders are learning the Word in their heart language; in Europe the Word is being translated into three languages, Muslims are asking about the Son and in North Africa 14 people were baptized. Praise God for what He is doing.
