2018 DIRECTORS NOMINATED

Rod Jablonski, Keller Willliams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains Realty

In accordance with Article IV of the Chamber’s bylaws, the membership is hereby notified of the following persons who have accepted nomination to serve a 3-year term on the board of directors beginning in 2018.

Many times, I have been in discussion with local businesses who, like myself are constantly looking for inexpensive, or even better, free ways to promote our business. There are of course networking groups, that is if you can find one that is not "exclusive", word of mouth, and getting involved in the community. But you can also get involved in the chamber by joining one of the many committees. You get meet other business people and at the same time have a little fun. Another, most often overlooked, is to make sure your business profile is up to date on the chamber web page, www.rochesternh.org. Overall, member visits last year via the Business Directory page received 56,600 visits. That was a surprise to me, quite frankly, so take a minute to make sure you are there and listed correctly.

ROCHESTER FIREFIGHTERS 21st ANNUAL TOY BANK That time of year is just ahead. We have been planning this year’s campaign for about a month. The Rochester Fire Department in conjunction with the Firefighters, local merchants and citizens have made the Christmas season brighter for many families. Last year we gave out gifts to approximately 750 infants and children in the week before Christmas. Once again, we are asking for your help. Here is how you can help: *

Collect new toys within your organization for age groups from newborn to 14 years old. We are always looking for ideas and donations for the 11-14 year age group.

*

Collect financial contributions within your organization and shop for gifts.

*

You can drop off new unwrapped items at the Rochester Fire Department at 37 Wakefield Street.

*

Monetary contributions can be mailed to: Rochester Fire Department Toy Bank, c/o Rochester Fire Department, 37 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867.

*

Contact Paul Haggenmiller or Cindi Potts at 335-7545 or email Cindi at [email protected] for more information. Thank you in advance for your continued support
