DUKE, BARBARA J. - 73, Tullahoma, TN. Funeral service, 2 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2017 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Thomas officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Duke passed away April 3, 2017. Mrs. Duke was the daughter of the late Wiley and Helen Mourer and was born in Aurora, IL. She was a customer service representative supervisor for MidState Communications Service. She attended First Church of Jesus Christ in Manchester. Her hobbies included all kinds of crafting. She especially enjoyed painting and making jewelry and cards. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was spending time teaching them crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Grant; and grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Thomas and Nicholas Cumbie. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Duke of Tullahoma; daughters, Debra Thomas and husband, Bill of Decherd and Tammy George and husband, Hanford Cumbie of Andrews, SC; brother, Raymond Mourer and wife, Debbie of Harvey, IL; sisters, Beverly Berry of Manchester and Jamie Mourer of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Brandy Ballard and husband, John of Decherd, Darby Thomas of Decherd, and Cale Thomas of Tullahoma; great grandchildren, Jenna and Preston Ballard; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends. ROGERS, JOEL CLAY - 49, Tullahoma, TN. Funeral service, 2 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. John Hill officiating. Burial in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Rogers passed away April 2, 2017. Mr. Rogers was the son of Jerry and Brenda Neal Rogers of Tullahoma and was born in Shelbyville, TN. He was a 1986 graduate of THS and attended Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville. While in school, he enjoyed playing sports including baseball, basketball, and football. One of his favorite activities was sharing the skills he had learned playing sports with his daughter, nephews, and niece. He also enjoyed attending their games and school functions. Mr. Rogers had an immense love for his family and loved working side by side with his Dad building fences. He enjoyed collecting antiques and attending flea markets searching for treasures with his daughter, Maggie. He also enjoyed collecting rock and geodes with his nephews. He was an avid UT Football fan. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by brother, Chad Rogers. In addition to his parents, Jerry and Brenda Rogers of Tullahoma, survivors include his wife, Wendy Taylor Rogers of Tullahoma; daughter, Maggie Grace Rogers of Tullahoma; brother, Josh Rogers and wife, Mindy of Tullahoma; sister, Amy Dodson and husband, Chuck of Tullahoma; niece, McKayla Rogers; nephews, Evan Rogers, Charlie Dodson, and Chase Dodson; and many good friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to his daughter’s Trust Fund, which is being established at Ascend Federal Credit Union. This transportation position is for Tyson Foods’ Estill Springs, Tennessee, location. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering animal feed in a safe and timely manner. In addition, proper feed-handling procedures, as outlined by federal regulations, must be followed. The workweek will be four 12-hour days on a rotating schedule.
These full time operator positions are for Tyson Foods’ Shelbyville, TN location. These positions are located on multiple shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to ensure continuous flow of product throughout the production process. Additional responsibilities include ensuring proper ingredients and supplies are being used, monitoring and adjusting machines, and notifying management if machines require maintenance. All responsibilities must be completed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods’ policies and procedures.
