“He Spake Many Things unto Them in Parables” Parable: A symbolic story that teaches gospel truths by comparing them to earthly things. One of the reasons Jesus taught in parables was because they helped people remember and reflect upon His words because parables are not easily forgotten… Matthew 13 has more parables than any other chapter in the scriptures. The parables found here are often referred to as the “Kingdom Parables” because they all deal with the building of the Kingdom of God in the last days.
