Nursing Excellence Consortium Annual Program • Will be hosted by Woman’s Hospital, Baton Rouge Louisiana • Focus on Quality, Value based purchasing and pay for performance initiatives reaffirmed. A copy of draft program purpose statement and Programs objectives has been included for your review. • Secure key note speaker for Value-based purchasing o Woman’s checking on availability and honorarium for Nate Kaufman one suggested key note; o Lone Patient satisfaction HCAPHS speaker suggested o other suggestions welcomed. • Utilize speakers from member organizations to share P4P initiatives, dashboards, Quality initiatives, standardized order sets, standard processes, best practices, staff nurses perspectives on reimbursement and patient outcomes • Obtain CEUs for program. Woman’s Educations Services department can secure once member speakers are decided upon • Confirm hotel accommodations once date is selected. Woman’s has agreements with several local hotels. • Suggested Break out sessions could be held to discuss Hospital and Academia pay for performance readiness • Suggested conference cost of early bird registration $90.00 & Student Rate $100. • Secure dates within Woman’s Conference center for 50-75 attendees preferably on a Friday. Due to Heavy Fall CME and outside conference schedules only two dates could be found. An evote will be required. Continental breakfast- Yogurt with granola, assorted Danish and muffins coffee,water,soda $3.95/person or

Other breakfast like VO- breakfast casserole, little biscuits, yogurt with granola, coffee , water, soda $4.95/person • Lunch- plated lunch - something like what you did for VO- chicken with seafood or artichoke topping and your choice of vegetable or potatoes etc. $8.95/person
