We are digging deeper into the Christian doctrine of The Church and we’ll explore what the Bible (revelation) teaches on this foundational truth of what the church is and how it grows.

The Authentic Church is characterized by proclamation) Read Peter’s first sermon in Acts 2:14; 37-41. If the church is characterized by proclamation, why do so few ever invite anyone to Church? How can the Holy Spirit help you to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ?

6) Dr. Ken’s Third Point: The authenticity of Christ’s Church is revealed by certain characteristics. (c. The Authentic Church is characterized by preservation/praise/ productivity). Read Acts 2:42-43; 46-47. How does our church live out vs. 42? How can we characterize that more in our church? Do you see gladness, praise, and joy in our church? How? According to vs. 47, are we a productive church?
