AMERICHEER, INC. Position: Cheer Gym Manager PART TIME Job Description: The Cheer Gym Manager is the primary contact representing the AmeriCheer Cheer Gym to the public and acting as the conduit for receiving and disseminating information to AmeriCheer’s staff and existing customer/client base. The position works with corporate leadership, marketing, office management and all Cheer Gym related staff and is responsible for running the day to day office functions necessary in keeping the gym business operable. Responsibilities include: scheduling, recruiting, organizing and staffing all cheer gym related activities, assisting the Office Manager with coverage of the front desk and general assistance with corporate projects and events. The Cheer Gym Manager is the key recruiter in marketing and selling the company for cheerleading and related activities and for reaching appropriate goals set for the department. This position reports to the President and Director of Operations. Performance Expectations: Recruit and retain students for classes and private lessons growing enrollment for the department Recruit Cheer Gym clientele for Spirit Team initiatives Assist the Office Manager in answering incoming phone calls, in person requests and email as needed Cover Front Desk duties when Office Manager is at lunch or otherwise out Work with the Office Manager to ensure that the Front Desk and Entry Area projects a neat, organized, secure and helpful environment Maintain inventory and ordering of all medical and office supplies needed for the Cheer Gym Monitor and Respond to all Cheer Gym related inquiries within a business day Work individually, with the Cheer Gym Assistant and Director of Marketing to create and mail all promotional materials, ads and course schedules Recruit, train, evaluate and retain instructors using items such as quarterly evaluations, Spirited Staffer Awards, and other initiatives Schedule classes and structure the master calendar for Cheer Gym, and readily display that information for reference Market Cheer and Youth classes, clinics, gym rentals, Open Houses and various other Cheer Gym initiatives Staff, coordinate and attend events such as clinics, the Westerville 4th of July parade, the Westerville Christmas parade, and other local public initiatives Develop materials and company literature for the website and the Cheer Bits newsletter Reach capacity goals for the gym and maintain a professional relationship with every client Clean and maintain of gym area including cleanliness of equipment and use of mats Maintain knowledge and leadership over all gym programs at all times that the gym is open Instruct at least one class Make phone calls, coordinate mailings, and otherwise assist marketing and recruitment efforts for the Cheer Gym Monitor activity and appropriately notate sales in the Victory Wear store and assist customers as needed Train and supervise the Cheer Gym Assistant on aspects of the Cheer Gym and front desk Assist Regional and National Event Coordinators enter information into the database and run Credit Cards for all events as needed Create a Cheer Gym Deposit every morning and submit it to the Accounting Manager

Maintain working knowledge of Victory Wear, Camps, Competitions and other corporate initiatives for communicating effectively with representatives, the public and internal staff. Work a minimum of six major competitions including the Ohio Championship, Winter Championship and Nationals Assist in corporate training session for Sales Representatives as needed Advise the Director of Operations of any issues with the facility regarding Cheer Gym including but not limited to phone trouble, heating and cooling trouble, and security issues Assist the company in increasing participation at events and increasing gross revenue by suggesting improvements to existing procedures or new ways to address them Attain or Exceed revenues listed in the Cheer Gym budget Maintain absolute confidentiality for proprietary information Exhibit enthusiasm and confidence with the public, other associates and employees Demonstrate the capacity to earn the owner’s respect and trust Maintain a positive image for AmeriCheer by reflecting a professional appearance and manner in all interactions with the public and internal associates Additional responsibilities as assigned by management Assignments: Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills by disseminating information to other company managers and owner. Demonstrating the capacity to earn the owners respect and trust. Effectively operating company technology and properly applying computer skills. Maintaining absolute confidentiality for proprietary information. Exhibiting enthusiasm and confidence with other associates and employees and to improve company’s market share Make decisions based on the mission statement of the company. Follow up with customers in a timely manner after events with proper correspondence through personal and/or written format. Professional Development: Participate in civic and company promotional functions as needed Identify cost saving measures which improve quality of company and identify to owners. Educational Requirements: A minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
