When fitting a replacement SSD to the machine please follow the procedure as described in the service manual as below:
After fitting the SSD do not turn on the machine without first placing a USB in the Firmware slot with the current firmware installed. Please also check that the machine type is set correctly. (refer to service manual). After the firmware is loaded, switch off the machine and boot as normal.
