Deadline, Sunday, Oct. 28. Preschool Fall Fundraiser Everyone is invited to the Meadowbrook Preschool Fall Festival fundraiser on Monday, Oct. 29, from 6:00 to 8:00, in the Family Center. Enjoy dinner from the Cherokee Inn, games, prizes, raffles, and many more fun fall activities. Ticket price includes dinner from the Cherokee Inn and all games; adults $8, children $10. Women’s Circle The Women's Circle will meet Wednesday, Nov. 7, 10:30, in the home of Kathy Tumlison. Soup, dessert, and drinks will be provided. Please RSVP to either Kathy or Karla Patterson if you plan to attend. If you prepared a salad or dessert for the preschool luncheon last May, please bring a copy of your recipe to the Circle meeting. Veterans Night Program Meadowbrook will be hosting its 13th Annual Salute to Veterans Program on Sunday, Nov. 11, beginning at 6:00, in the Family Center-fellowship hall. This year our guest speaker will be Madison’s own CJ Stewart, who has a powerful testimony of faith, courage, and recovery in the wake of a devastating injury while serving as a U.S. Army combat medic in Southern Afghanistan in 2010. If you are a veteran and have not filled out a Veterans Survey Form, please see Chuck Bearman or call the church office. Mission Mississippi Soldier Ben Neely, along with Cub Pack 85 of Florence, MS, is collecting non-perishable items that will be bundled into shoeboxes and shipped overseas to Mississippi service men and women. Women’s Book Club The Women’s Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 6:30, at the home of Neddie Joye Tolleson. The book that will be discussed is Edge of Eternity by Randy Alcorn.
