Online Registration Explanations

Starting September 5, organizations will be able to register their profile pages on iGiveCatholic.org. Please see the following explanations, which will help with this process. Questions marked with an asterisk are required.

#iGiveCatholic information will be sent to the primary and secondary points of contact before, during, and after the giving day. Please be sure to type the information correctly so that you receive all of the #iGiveCatholic materials and news.

You are required to include the city in which your organization is located, i.e. St. Patrick’s Parish, New Orleans. If you do not include the city of your organization, donors may confuse you with another parish, school, or ministry.

This name will act only as a search alias and will not appear on your profile.

Not required. Include alias if your donors know your organization as a name other than your formal organization name.

Acknowledgements

#iGiveCatholic will be using Kimbia as its technology partner for the iGiveCatholic program. Kimbia is a recognized technology leader for match fundraising programs. Credit card transactions are secure, backed by a PCI Level 1 secure service provider certification. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Foundation is making no representations or warranties as to the security of any credit card transactions. Please check the box below* I agree

#iGiveCatholic is an online only fundraising program. In order for donations to be counted for the program, donations MUST be made by credit card through the iGiveCatholic.org website and designated to the Participant between the hours of 12:00am to 11:59:59pm November 28, 2017, or during advanced day giving November 10-26, 2017. The Participant should promote the event to its donors through methods of its choosing and may take advantage of the #iGiveCatholic's promotional and marketing materials that are made available. Any paid promotional methods utilized by the Participant are solely at Participant's discretion and expense. Please check the box below* I agree

Participating dioceses will promote iGiveCatholic through its media partners and various websites. Participants will be entitled to an organization donation page and link to the page for use on event day. The Participant is responsible for providing description and organizational logo for use on personal donation page. Please check the box below* I agree

The acknowledgment questions are to sign off that your organization has read and acknowledged the rules of #iGiveCatholic Giving Day.

Within 60 days of event close, Participants will receive payment in the amount of total donations received on behalf of the Participant net of fees plus any prizes (if applicable). Please check the box below* I agree

#iGiveCatholic will provide the Participant a live link to donor lists that includes contact and amount information for their specific donors. The link will be live commensurate with the start of the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day and will be active for 30 days post event. It is the organization's responsibility to download a copy of the report and to keep it saved on their own server post event. Final payment report and payment will be issued by #iGiveCatholic to the Participant via check by day 60 of event close. Donor information is never given or sold to a third party. After completing the registration, click the Register button. If you have not completed the required questions, the form will prompt you to do so and will prevent you from completing the registration until all required questions are answered.

Once you have successfully registered your organization, the email address for the Primary Point of Contact will receive an email prompting them to create a password for access to the organization’s Self-User Interface (located at http://givingday.kimbia.com).

By logging into this portal, you will have access to your organization’s important links, such as the Donor Database Link and the Embedding Links. You will also have the option to update your Public Profile Page until November 7; after this date, you will no longer be able to edit your organization’s Public Profile Page.

After your organization has completed all three participation requirements (submitting a Commitment Form, attending a training session, and completing your online registration), your organization’s profile will be approved and added to the iGiveCatholic.org leaderboard and your Public Profile Page will be live.
