4-Steps 1. Enable Online Testing and turn-on permissions 2. Add students to portal 3. Create online assessment roster/ test session (for an existing assessment, otherwise create an assessment) 4. Administer test/assessment to students
We will create a student portal once your district requests Online Testing to be turned on. The portal will have a URL similar to: districtname.illuminatehc.com

GetPermissions The district will need to send an email to their Implementation Manager to request for Online Testing to be enabled. Once enabled, the district may turn on the following permissions for users:
• Manage Student Portal This permission allows the user to give students access to the student portal: create temporary passwords, disable/enable accounts Users only have access to students they access in Illuminate (e.g. for a teacher, only their students rostered to him/her) • Online Testing This permission allows the user to administer an online test illuminateed.com
AddStudentstoPortal 1. Go to Students>Manage Student Portal
2. Click Add a Student. Students who are displayed have portal access already. Note, that it shows their temporary password. If the student has logged in a changed their password, the new password does not show. illuminateed.com
Use the filters to find the students to add to the portal. Then click Submit.
-Use the checkboxes to select the students. -Create a custom password, or choose Random password if you want th system to create the password. -Your students will need to log-in with their student ID and temporary password. illuminateed.com

From the Overview page of the assessment, select Online Testing Administration.
Click Add Roster.
