Ice Breaker What are some of the most significant events in your life? What makes those events significant to you? Opening Question What stood out to you from the weekend message? Was there a scripture, principle, or action step that has stuck with you? Scripture Read Matthew 28 (Have different members of the group share the reading) How do the following people react to the news of the Resurrection: The women? The guards? The chief priests? The disciples?

Why would the chief priests and others prefer to believe the falsified story?

Upon seeing the resurrected Jesus, how do the disciples respond (v.17)? Why is doubt mingled with their worship? What do they doubt?

The message of Easter, the good news of Easter, Jesus is alive. We have a risen savior. Why do many not expect anything to be different tomorrow?

Why do we view salvation like an insurance policy that we will cash in after we die vs. something that will transform our today and tomorrow?

Ben said “Salvation isn’t just for someday, it is for today. Salvation = life.” What does it mean when Jesus says that salvation is life? (See John 10:10, Zoe)
