Request for Information (RFI) Office Production Printer
Information being sought PERS is doing research for a replacement of the Production Copier/Printer that has been in operation at PERS for the past 5 years. We have printed approximately 8 million+ copies since installation August 2008 or approximately 140,000 – 160,000 copies per month. The information obtained from this RFI may be used to develop a solicitation that can result in a contract for printer lease. Nothing in this Request for Information should be considered binding and responses to this RFI are not a guarantee of future business with PERS. This research is to inquire what technologies are available that would meet or exceed the features listed: Automatic Duplex print 1200 x 600 dpi print resolution Print speed of at least 105 ppm (8.5 x 11) At least 103 scans per minute Finisher (3,000 sheet capacity) Stapling up to 100 sheets Process 16 lb. bond to 170 lb. index 9,000 sheet paper capacity from 2 sources, sizes range from 8.5 x 5.5 up to 12 x 18” 3,000 sheet output finisher / stacker Page Insertion capability Folding – On the fly Hole Punch – On the fly Faxing is not needed No Color Response Instructions Questions may be directed to Kate Harris @
