Our Beliefs and Practices In essential beliefs-we have unity. There is one body and one Spirit…one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all. Ephesians 4:4-6 In non-essential beliefs-we have liberty. Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls…So then each of us will give an account of himself to God…So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22 In all our beliefs-we show charity. If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains-but I have no love, I amount to nothing at all. 1 Cor. 13:2

The sole basis of our belief is the Bible.
The Scripture in its entirety is composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, which originated with God, and was given through the instrumentality of many different chosen authors. We believe that there is one living, true, holy God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus was miraculously conceived, born of a virgin, and sinless in life. Christ was fully man and fully God, walked our earth, lived a life of obedience, suffered at the hands of men, and died on the cross. He fully atoned for the sins of all, was bodily resurrected and enthroned at God’s right hand as our Intercessor. Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace, received by repentance and faith. Each person can be made new in Christ by the Holy Spirit and thereafter continuously grow in the knowledge of God.

What We Value Relevant We want to stay as relevant as today’s headline news while holding to the timeless teachings of Jesus Christ. An Intimate God God is a living God who wants to be included in every detail of your life. God wants a genuine, intimate relationship with you. He wants to call you friend! Acceptance We are not perfect and we don’t expect you to be. You’ll be greeted by friendly folks, feel accepted and have the opportunity to become a friend of Christ exactly as you are. Life Mission We believe that God has a unique plan for your life. We want to help you discover and live out your Godgiven destiny. Following God’s Pattern for Living We strive to embrace the integrity modeled by Christ and outlined in the Bible. We seek to live both our public and private lives in such a way that we are a reflection of Christ. People We value people. We recognize how we treat others in our community, both inside and outside the church will affect how we are viewed. We desire to communicate God’s love in our attitudes, actions and speech. Team Ministry We believe, as in Ephesians 4, that as a whole group, we fit together perfectly, each person doing the part that God created them to do. When we work as a team, we will be healthy and full. Community Outreach

Community Outreach is for every person. The Bible is clear that is our responsibility to carry His message to others. We desire our presence in the community to be widely known. We will be intentional with outreach and friendship evangelism. Servant Leadership God has given each person unique abilities, or gifts, to serve the church. We will serve each other with a humble heart and encouraging words. Authentic Relationships Our life was never meant to be walked alone. We thrive in our relationship with God when we are connected in life-giving relationships with each other. We will have a have a blast while we do life together! Family Ministry Life is busy. Sometimes families get out of balance. We desire to help you bring God back to center of your family. We want kids to have grounded relationships with their parents and grow up knowing the Jesus who was exampled before them. Excellence We believe that you, and the community are worth our best. We strive to have excellence in all we do. Stewardship We value God’s things. We recognize that we are only temporarily managing all He’s entrusted us. We are committed to integrity and faithfulness in the management of all the resources He has blessed us with. No Tolerance For Gossip We all come to the table with learned behaviors. Nothing is more harmful, especially in the church, than gossip. The Bible defines gossip as not only those who say it, but those who listen to it. We as a church, and as individuals, must use the words we speak to help each other toward our destiny just as Jesus did with the woman caught in the act of adultery when He refused to condemn and instead challenged her to go for glory.
