Turitto Cleaners purchased a new Fulton 20FBF highefficiency highpressure Fulton steam boiler to replace their 30 year old Fulton – which still worked. James Turitto is second generation owner of Turitto Cleaners, a busy, spacious, productive, full service dry cleaner and shirt laundry serving the Bismarck-Mandan market. James has a background in music and lived in Minneapolis during and after college before returning to Bismarck to raise a family.

Something New On May 5th the new MCC elevator was put into service! Since the demise of the “old” elevator in September 2016, our warehouse staff has been working extra hard to manually transport inventory from upper floors to fill customer orders. The process of removing the old elevator and replacing it with a new model was expertly done by the crew from All City Elevator and Ultimate Construction. We celebrated with desserts including two pies... one for “Up” and one for “Down”.

MCC People We recently said thank you and farewell to Anita M. who filled in at the MCC front desk position for six weeks while Anita Skinner recuperated from surgery. Anita M. did a fine job of answering phones, handling paperwork and assisting all others in the office. In appreciation, we had a pizza party and presented her with some beautiful MCC parting gifts! Thanks again Anita M. for your fine service to MCC and its customers.

MPCA Small Business Environmental Loan Program Looking to purchase new equipment that is better for the environment? Get an MPCA (Minnesota Pollution Control Agency) small business environmental loan for equipment that meets or reduces environmental regulatory obligations. Many small businesses can benefit from using the loan to change or upgrade equipment. Promoted business sectors include dry cleaners. Projects that go beyond compliance or focus on water use reduction (laundries) are also highly encouraged. For other companies, loan dollars can help with investigation or cleaning up contaminated sites. To qualify a borrower must: • Be an existing small business corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership or association • Have less than 50 full-time employees • Have an after tax profit of less than $500,000 and a net worth of less than $1,000,000 • Demonstrated ability to repay the loan

The general terms: • Loan amount not less than $1000 or more than $50,000 • An interest rate of 4% or one half the prime rate whichever is greater at the time • A repayment term of up to seven years • Flexible collateral options • Applications accepted throughout the year
