Parents are really at the heart of student discipleship as it takes place daily in the home. Our Student Ministry exists to partner with parents by sending caring, Christian adults into the world of teenagers to help guide them in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We hope to provide programs and events that give these great mentors and Bible teachers an inroad into authentic relationships with young people. Additionally, we hope to provide training and useful tools for parents to fulfill their mandate to raise their children in the admonition and instruction of the Lord. This summer, consider going through our resource on the book of Proverbs, called “Kingdom Wisdom.” It’s a resource I created to go along with our series on Wednesday nights this Spring semester. Going through the family devotional together with your teenager will give you an easy avenue into spiritual conversations. Copies are available in the Student Ministry Office and in The Student Center-Bldg 3.
