Partnered for Success: A Case Study in Global Achievement

Challenge Circumnavigating the globe in a single-engine aircraft is no easy undertaking, especially when fuel and services need to be purchased in some remote regions. The Amelia Project knew that safety needed to be put first. However, having seamless and easy access to fuel, hangars, catering and other flight support services was mission-critical as well.

Solution When The Amelia Project approached Signature Flight Support for sponsorship, they eagerly joined the effort. Signature also proposed that Amelia carry a Signature Flight Support Card to securely pay for all fuel and services along the way. When she agreed, Signature contacted U.S. Bank, to make arrangements for expedited delivery.

Results

The Amelia Project and aviatrix, Amelia Rose Earhart, resolved two things. One, to reenact the around-the-world-flight that her namesake, Amelia Mary Earhart, never completed in 1937. And two, combine that effort with providing flight scholarships to young women with her Fly With Amelia Foundation.
