Dear Parents, The weekend of November 6-8 we will be taking a group of 3rd – 6th graders to a Fall Kids Conference at Pine Cove Christian Camp, near Tyler, Texas. These weekends combine all the fun of camp – great outdoor activities, hilarious skits, cool camp games – with outstanding conference speakers and intentional programming, designed to maximize the time leaders get to invest in their kids. The registration cost is $85 per child and reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis. All registration forms and money must be turned in by Nov. 1 to Stephanie Ott in the Awana Store or you may also contact Stephanie Ott at (214) 649-4887 for other arrangements. You are not considered registered until you have turned in: a) A completed registration form and medical release form. b) $85 cash or a check made payable to Faith Bible Church. We have reserved space for 28 kids. Each cabin holds seven children and one adult cabin leader. If you are an Awana or Sunday School leader and wish to volunteer as a camp leader, please note that on top of your child’s registration form and Stephanie will contact you. If you volunteer to serve as a leader, it would be helpful if you have a van or SUV to transport the campers you are in charge of. Your child’s assigned cabin leader will be calling parents by Thursday, Nov. 5 to let you know who will be driving your child to and from camp and any additional details that they need to know. Please feed your child before you come. We will be leaving the church at 6:30pm on Friday and will return to church on Sunday afternoon, in time for Awana.
