A day-long training experience – over 150 courses to pick from! Supplemental Training / Idea Sharing / FUN! FUN! FUN! Additional Practical Information beyond Essentials and Specific Training Valuable sessions for even the most experienced leader. See attachments for course descriptions and schedule. Who can attend? YOU! ALL Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, and Venturing Leaders – including Youth Leaders. SPECIAL: Bring a buddy who was not at the 2012 U of S, and earn a BUDDY-TAG PATCH! (NOTE: This offer does not apply to bringing a child for childcare.) How can I attend? All registrations must be submitted on-line at the Council website, PPBSA.org, no later than midnight, 11/29. The registration site can be found by selecting 12/7 on the Council Calendar and clicking on University of Scouting. You will receive a confirmation of your registration via e-mail. Please keep a copy of your confirmation. (The flyer will be available there also. Please see separate flyer for Den Chief Training.) Child Care and Youth Course Attendance For your assistance, while you are attending the University of Scouting: Child care for your boys and girls, infant through 1st Grade, will be provided by the Camp Fire Girls for FREE. Your older girls are welcome to come and help the Camp Fire Girls. We’re sorry, but there is no Cub Scout Program for boys in Grades 2-5 is available this year. Boy Scouts and Venturers may attend the U of S if they are taking courses as Youth Leaders/potential Youth Leaders. No children are allowed in the classrooms, except Boy Scouts and Venturers taking courses! Additional Information Registration Fees-Early Bird: $15 by 10/12; Regular: $20 from 10/13 thru 11/19; Late: $30 from 1/20 thru 11/29. NO registrations or lunch orders will be accepted after 11/29. Lunch is available, and must be pre-ordered on-line: $6 for ham or turkey sub, plus cookies, fruit, chips, soda. If you prefer, bring a bag lunch. There will be FREE soda for everyone at lunch even if they don’t buy a lunch. There will also be FREE donuts in the morning, and FREE coffee and tea all day long. Parking is limited, so please try to car pool STAFF NOTES: If you are on staff, you need to register only if you are attending sessions or want to purchase a lunch. Staff registration is FREE, but you must pay for your lunch if you want one. *DIRECTIONS: Randolph Middle School is on Millbrook Avenue, 1 mile south of Route 10, on the right. From the north: take Rt. 15 south to Dover, and turn left on Clinton. Turn right on Morris and follow across Blackwell and up the hill. At the top of the hill bear right on Millbrook. Follow Millbrook south across Rt. 10. From the south: take I-287 North to the NJ Route 10 West exit. Follow “from the east” directions. From the east: take NJ Route 10 West. At Millbrook Ave., take the jug handle left to Millbrook Ave. South. From the west: take I-80 to Ledgewood exit. Follow US 46 east straight to NJ 10 east. Follow Rt. 10, then turn right at Millbrook Ave.
