DEN CHIEF TRAINING Cranford United Methodist Church 201 Lincoln Avenue and Walnut Ave, Cranford, NJ Saturday, June 2, 2012 - 8:30 am - 11:00 am Those who should take this training are: 1. Scouts already serving as den chiefs, who are not yet trained. 2. Scouts who definitely will be serving as den chiefs in the fall. 3. Scouts who are thinking about asking to serve as den chiefs in the fall -- Note that even if you do not actually become den chiefs, much of what you’ll learn will be useful to you as Scouts when serving in other leadership positions, such as troop guides and patrol leaders. While there is no cost, registration is required prior to May 31, 2012. Register through the Patriots’ Path Council website, www.ppbsa.org. Go to the calendar page, click on the link for Munsee District Calendar, and then click on the link for Den Chief Training that you’ll find on June 2. Then click on the link to start registration process. For each Scout, please provide the following information: Scout's name, email, phone, troop, Scoutmaster's name, email, and phone number. 1. Make sure you bring a pen or pencil. 2. Be in your Class A uniform. 3. Several days before the class, take the on-line course, Den Chief Training Fast Start, http://www.scouting.org/Training/Youth/DenChefTraining.aspx. It takes about 30 minutes. 4.
