All dimensions are given in millimetres, and internal dimensions are taken to face of blockwork. Do not scale from the drawing. All dimensions and conditions to be checked and confirmed on site by the Contractor. The Contractor should inform the Architect of any discrepancies before proceeding with the work. All elements of work and materials are to comply with Building Regulations and British Standards, good industry practice and the recommendations of material and component manufacturers. All drawings are indicative only. The sub-contractor is to submit shop drawings to the contract administrator of all the relevant components and elements for comment prior to fabrication. All products are to be suitable for their purpose. The Contractor is to install all products where noted in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations/specifications and inform the Architect of any discrepancies or changes in the specification before proceeding with the work. This drawing is to be read in conjunction with all other relevant documentation including that produced by other consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Steel angle trim with sealant fixed to the structural soffit either side of partition as shown to maintain acoustic performance

50mm metal or SW timber framing Pipe boxed in with two layers gypsum- based board, each layer nom. 8kg/m2. Moisture resistant plasterboard to kitchens/bathrooms/W.C's.

Seal any gaps at the base of linings to both sides with Gyproc Sealant (in conjunction with Gyproc Joint Filler) in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements. Firestop at the head using Gyproc Plank with continuous line of Gyproc FireStrip. Gypframe Deep Flange Floor & Ceiling Channel is fixed through firestop to soffit at 600mm centres using suitable fixings. No fixings should be made through the boards into the flanges of the head channel.

Concrete slab to S.E.

Hilti CP680 intumescent cast-in firestop device, gaps to be packed with min 100mm depth 60kg/m3 mineral wool. Minimum fire resistance: Blocks B & C: 60minutes. Block A: 90 minutes.
