As Scheetz has been building her photography career, she has worked as a senior retoucher/ digital artist with top beauty and fashion brands for over 15 years. She is able to provide her clients the highest quality standard because of her knowledge of building complex composites, color grading and retouching while retaining image detail and realism. Her vast knowledge of all studio and on-site lighting techniques, allows her to increase productivity and reduce post production time by achieving a higher quality image while reducing overall costs from start to finish. Scheetz insures every member of her team is up to par on the latest techniques and technology.

Melissa Scheetz is an editorial and commercial photographer with a focus on beauty, cosmetics and personal care. It began when she met the love of her life, Intro to Black and White Photography, in an elective college class her senior year at Miami University. Born and raised in a small town, Scheetz could not find more than corn in Indiana and moved to New York City to invest more time with her love of all things photography. Twenty years later, she is still excited about creating new images. Her best work has been produced by building the right team of amazing artists and listening to her clients needs. When she is not working hard at making a name for herself in the industry, she enjoys spending time with her dog Mister Higgins and watching documentaries about ocean creatures.
