Musical Excellence o High proficiency and skill o Able to play or sing within a band o Open to constructive criticism, lessons and improvement o Ability and openness to musically/vocally moving with the Holy Spirit (There are times during worship services when the worship leader will begin to lead prophetically. As a musician/vocalist, one should be able to continue to play/sing even if there is no music or set guidelines.) Commitment to growth o Spiritually, musically, relationally o Pledge to be spiritually prepared to minister (This includes having personal prayer, devotion time and seeking God’s heart for each worship experience.)
