Postgraduate Taught officer

What has been worked on in the past month: Throughout January I have focused on my Masters degree. However, Tommy, Glen, Josh, Kudzai, Jen, James and I planned and completed the engagement training day for Mary Stuart. This was to all the Heads of Schools and Colleges to inform them of the work the SU do and the rep structure and how we can better utilize this. This went really successfully as it seemed really well received. It consisted of talks, a quiz, group work and talking about experiences. Successes from the past month: The engagement training day was really well received and lots of positive things came out of it. For example, Mary Stuart suggested we get HoS and HoC’s trained in the SU and rep structure. Plans for next month: My plans for the next month are to get the postgrad common room promo out and distributed. I would also like to plan a PG rep social. Additionally, I plan to meet with all the PG leads again and make progress on my December action points (when my Xmas deadlines are finally finished).
