Another Global Mission Card challenge is to pray for the country where the Global Worker is located. On the backs of the cards you will find the locations of where our Global Workers are situated. We listed their locations because we wanted you to be led to pray for that area of the world or specific place hoping to bring to mind the social, economic, political, and environmental factors that have become a fixture in the lives of our Global Workers as they are on the field.

RECENTLY HOSPITALIZED PRAYER LIST

Here’s how that might play out: This week we have a Global Worker couple that is located in Mexico. In Hidalgo, Mexico, located about 2 hours north of where our Global Workers are stationed, there was a recent tragedy where 125 people lost their lives. The people tried to take gas from a pipeline that was illegally tapped. There are dangers associated with a pipeline spilling gas and you wouldn’t want to ever walk up to it with a bucket hoping to catch some but this event points to the desperation, greed, hopelessness, poverty, and corruption that is happening in Mexico and ultimately why we should be praying for this country. Knowing about that event, when I pray it brings a picture to my heart of our missionaries in Mexico who are bringing Christ into situations that aren’t easy to understand and areas that really need God to be their light. So, I find myself praying for all of Mexico as I lift up our Global Workers.

He and his wife Shari have been married for 16 years and they have three wonderful children (Jillian 14, Rachel 12, Jacob 9) that keep them busy. Kyle is passionate about inspiring and empowering Christ-Followers to live radically generous and gracious lives that reflect Jesus love and draw people to Him. Open Position Calvary Church has an opening for a Pastor of Young Adults. Interested parties should submit resumes to Chris ([email protected]).

There is no need to keep up to date on all current events for each of our Global Workers but rather just remember when you pray over their Prayer Requests to look up to the top and pray for their Location as well. Missionary Prayer Guides Missionary Prayer Guides are available at the Connection Point to guide you as you pray for our global and community workers throughout the month of March.

prayer “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

Our 2019 Lent Guide, is focused on bringing God a sacrifice of praise and is designed to help us walk through this season together as a church.
