Come explore the journey God has for you here at our Next Steps Luncheon. This is a time to learn more about the church, the benefits of being part of a Community Group, Sunday Morning Bible Classes, and becoming an active member. Join our pastors, their wives, and our staff for a free lunch on Sunday, July 31, 2016, 12:00p - 1:00p in the Annex and see what God has in store for you.

2. Find a Sunday Morning Bible Class Our Sunday Morning Bible Classes are groups that meet before or after the worship services to study and discuss the Bible in depth. Visit the Welcome Centers, Ministry Areas or go online for help with choosing from 17 classes.

3. Join a Community Group

An authentic biblical community that provides the place where we can grow, learn, and serve as we seek to know Jesus. We have a variety of over 60 groups from students to adults. To locate a group for you go online or plan to attend Linkfest on September 11.

4. Become a Member Sign up for one of our upcoming New Members Classes online on August 12-13 and October 21-22. This class is a basic introduction to our church family. We designed this class to clearly explain what we at East Cooper Baptist Church believe.

For detailed event information please go online. JUL 12 A weekly gathering for our church to come together to pray for spiritual renewal in our church and city. We will pray every Tuesday until we open our new sanctuary. Please make plans to attend weekly at 6:30p in the Worship Center. JUL 12 Peg Walden will lead this discussion on the book, “Loving Well, Even If You Haven’t Been” by William P. Smith. There is no childcare available. Meets weekly in the Library from 6:30-8:00p. REGISTER TODAY JUL 16 Our Young Adult Ministry will go to dinner at Momma Goldberg's Deli at 6:30p then over to the Mount Pleasant Pier for Shaggin' on the Cooper at 8pm. Cost is $10/person at the pier. JUL 17 There will be a Jordan interest meeting from 12:30-1:00p in B222. Discussion will be for a trip planned Oct. 25-Nov. 3 to work in partnership with Jordanian churches to provide vision testing and eyeglasses to refugees. MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND JUL 17 CrossWalk is our specialized ministry just for 5th graders. It is our desire to prepare these older children for their next step into our Middle School Ministry. Mark your calendar for the next CrossWalk Hang Time on July 17 from 12:15-2:30p in the Gym. JUL 27 This is for all ECBC men and boys 6th grade and up. Dr. Ron Allchin from Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center will be teaching on “Self Control - A Key to Moral Purity.” Dinner will be served in the gym from 5:30-6:10p. Program begins at 6:30p.
