2019 YOUTH ON MISSIONS 11th GRADE JAMAICA SPECIFICS TRAVEL DAYS: MARCH 16 AND MARCH 23 The purpose of this trip is to expose students to different cultures as well as create an opportunity for their relationship with God to grow by sharing the Gospel and serving others through construction and outreach. Students will be going into schools in the rural parts of Jamaica to teach kids about the Bible and to share the love of Jesus. Other opportunities to serve in Jamaica include construction and a visit to the infirmary.

Merciful Father, thank You for Your mercy and protection for safe travel, smooth flights and ontime connections to and from Jamaica. Thank You for traveling safety in vans to and from the mission sites each day. Sovereign Lord, thank You for enabling weather for travel and serving in Jamaica. Give our students and leaders favor for smooth transfers through customs with all passports intact. Father, thank You for giving our students and leaders unity, harmony, peace and good fellowship as they travel together. Help them to help others follow Jesus through their good witness. Faithful Father, thank You for protecting and shielding our students and leaders from bed bugs and insect bites. Bless our students and leaders with good restorative rest each night. Caring Father, thank You for giving our students and leaders wisdom to make healthy choices. Protect them from food poisoning, contagious diseases and allergies. Wise Father, thank You for giving wisdom, guidance and safety to our students and leaders at work sites. Help them serve with excellence as if serving Christ. Loving Lord, thank You for opening doors of opportunity for students and leaders to be a light in the darkness. Help them to boldly share the Gospel and Your love with the locals. Bring many to receive salvation as they hear the truth. Bless them with miracles! All for Your glory, Father! Merciful Lord, thank You for every child You created for relationship with You. As our students and leaders help school children with their academics and fun games, give them favor, wisdom, discernment and guidance. Prepare children’s hearts to hear about Jesus, believe and receive salvation. All for Your glory, Father! Good Father, thank You for creating families. Help each student and leader to experience joyful, smooth and harmonious reunions with their families. Faithful Father, thank you for Katie, Diane and Bev, our Jamaica team leaders. Bless and equip them with good health, strength, wisdom, discernment and patience. Thank You for giving them sensitivity to hear and yield to Your voice. (John 10:4)
