Congratulations on gaining your place at ICWS and welcome to the College. We hope that your time with us will be a rewarding one and that you enjoy every moment of your stay in Wales. This Orientation Guide is designed to help you get the most out of your orientation and enrolment. If you need any help or advice throughout the week please ask a member of the Student Services Team or one of the Student Ambassadors.

What do I need to bring?

Police registration

Please bring with you:  your passport  visa/Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)  original academic and English language documents  original letter of offer and the acceptance of the offer  proof of your English language level  your tenancy agreement for your Swansea accommodation

If your visa says that you must register with the police, please make enquiry at ICWS reception so that you can register properly.

You must present all of the above documents and enrol before you can start classes. These documents must be originals, not copies.

We will be able to give you advice on the police registration here in ICWS. You will need to prepare yourself with 2 passport sized photos of you, your offer letter from ICWS, your passport and £34 in cash. It is a legal requirement that you register with the police. If you fail to do so you will be in breach of your visa conditions. You must not miss your police registration appointment.

REMINDER It is important that you fully complete the enrolment process. Failure to do so could stop you accessing all of the facilities available at ICWS and Swansea University. Please note that the 24/7 ICWS emergency phone number is – 07780 686891 Enrolment can be a time-consuming process so please try your best to be patient.
