Packing List CARRY ON (small/medium backpack, small luggage that fits airline guidelines; and a small personal bag like a purse/tote bag)

1. Alarm Clock 2. Book, iPod, Tablet, Coloring Book, etc. for inflight entertainment etc. (minimize valuables) 3. Cell phone/Charger/International electric plug converter (transformer not needed for cellphone, camera, or laptop chargers, just the conversion plug). 4. Change of Clothes (a full outfit in case luggage doesn’t arrive promptly or things get messy) 5. Copy of Itinerary, emergency phones numbers and prescriptions 6. Credit Cards, Instant Cash (ATM) Card (remember PIN), Medical/Dental Cards 7. Headphones/ Ear Plugs 8. Minimal Toiletries (Chapstick, Contact Lens Case, etc.) 9. Prescription meds (in original packaging) 10. Snacks. (Fruit/meat can NOT be brought back to USA). 11. Sunglasses 12. Travel Pillow/light scarf or very small blanket/towel for sleeping on the plane 13. Water Bottle (EMPTY) 14. Tooth brush and small tooth paste (we will be traveling for a while…) 15. One quart-size ziploc baggie of liquids 3oz or less (3-1-1). Put larger liquids in checked bag NOTE: We will spend a lot of time on a plane and in a bus during the first two days. Flashlight 5. Hat/ cap 6. Laundry Bag (Target Plastic Bag) 7. A few “Nice” outfits for closing dinner, church, and potentially other meals/times 8. Pen/Pencil & Notebook 9. Rain jacket/coat (or in your carry on) 10. Shoes/sandals (good walking/work shoes a must, make sure you can walk a few miles in them) 11. Shorts, Jeans, Pants (think warm weather and not a lot of AC) 12. Soap, Shampoo, Hand Lotion, Face Wash (your needed toiletries) 13. Socks 14. Glasses (prescription) 15. Sunscreen/Bug Spray (connect with others to share) 16. Warm Shirt, Sweatshirt, or Jacket (think Minnesota summer) 17. Swim Suit or two 18. Towel, Hand Towel, Wash Cloth (Europe doesn’t use washcloths) 19. T-shirts/Tank Tops (again, think summer) 20. Underwear 21. Work Gloves 22. Work Clothes (will get very dirty!) 23. Batteries (if any of your items need them) Bring clothes that you can mix-and-match into different outfits and layer according to weather. Bring things you feel comfortable having pictures taken in.
