Lighthouse “Care Kit” List for August 4 Thank you for your willingness to bless LCM clients by providing “Care Kit” items! LCM has clients who regularly come in hungry, are homeless, or have no resources to prepare food. Your contribution is greatly appreciated! The items below will make FOUR Day Packs & is estimated at $25 total. Lighthouse will provide the bags. 1 Box Saltines (4 sleeves of crackers) 1 four-pack fruit cups (easy open) 1 pack Jif-to-Go peanut butter (4-8 pk, 1-2 per bag) 4 cans tuna or chicken (with pull top) 4 cans vienna sausages (with pull top) 1 box pop-tarts 1 pack Hunts Pudding Cups (non-refrigerated) 1 box granola bars (protein bars, etc) 4 bottles of water 4 travel size Wet Wipes 4 pk of breath mints or lifesavers

Nonperishable food collection for Clear Lake Food Pantry. Donation boxes will be posted at Chapel, reception and Preschool. Food will be delivered by KJOY-ers the following week.

Saturday 4:00pm - 7:00pm Families will gather in neighborhood parks to hand out popsicles, water, and pick up litter. Meet back at UBC to grill hotdogs and fellowship around 6:00pm.

Saturday 9:15am - noon Meet at UBC, carpool to Lighthouse Christian Ministries to tour the facility and pack Care Kits. Families collect needed items on the LCM list (see reverse), pack bags for the homeless, and make prayer cards to show them we care. These Care Kits contain specific items that address needs of homeless.
