18V ONE+ PALM SANDER

If you’re using the dressed pine, mark 70mm lengths using a pencil, so that you create a roughly square top. TIP: You can use any width or type of wood, customising the length depending in your desired present shape (the bigger the better we say!).

2 Cut it out!

Clamp down wood to stable and secure surface. Using your ONE+ Jigsaw, cut along your pencil line.

2. Presents A Plenty

3 Smooth operator

Smooth out the edges, corners and flat surfaces with the Ryobi ONE+ Palm Sander.

4 Show your true colours

For a vibrant finish, choose your paint colour and using a paint brush, start to give your presents personality. For some added detail, use metallic, glitter or even textured paint. TIP: For clean paint lines, use masking tape.

5 Wrap it up

Cut thin strips of craft foam to be used as the present’s ‘ribbon’. Using the Ryobi ONE+ Glue Gun, glue strips across the top and sides of the wooden block. Where the two ribbon strips overlap, for an added touch, take one more thin strip of craft foam and tie into a bow, and glue down.

6 No time like the present If you had fun making this present, why not make more.

Mix it up with different shapes, sizes and finishes.
