Trijicon founder Glyn Bindon’s interest in selfilluminated sights became the inspiration for using tritium (a hydrogen isotope) to provide scope luminescence. This innovation solved the problem long associated with traditional crosshair scopes (e.g., poor aiming-point contrast in low-light conditions). It also became the cornerstone of our exclusive dualillumination technology.
Glyn Bindon also devised a way to bring botheyes-open shooting and magnified optics together for the first time in a discovery called the Bindon Aiming Concept™ (BAC).

During daylight hours, many Trijicon reticles are illuminated with light provided by a fiber-optic light collector. When ambient light fades, the reticle is illuminated with a tritium lamp. As innovators in illuminated reticle technology, Trijicon has since incorporated advanced battery technology as well as solar cell solutions to its line of products.
When you move your firearm, your eyes focus on the unmagnified view, permitting high transitional speed and a wide field of view. As soon as a target is selected and your firearm stops moving, you focus on the magnified image. This is an automatic function of the human brain. The result? It's made in the U.S.A. and packed with features like a first focal plane reticle, reliable LED illumination with ten settings and locking external adjusters.

The Trijicon TARS is the pinnacle of Trijicon's high-performance longrange riflescopes. It's designed with an LED first focal plane reticle that's always in perfect proportion to your target. Simply put; it zooms when you zoom. Since there is no need to make complex calculations on the fly, it delivers faster, more accurate aiming in critical situations.
Being ready for anything is a hallmark of Trijicon optics, and the Trijicon TARS is no exception. It's constructed to be just as tough as the legendary Trijicon ACOG and features an aircraft quality anodized aluminum body with ultra-durable hardware and rugged controls.
Because you can never predict all conditions, the Trijicon TARS is designed to adapt easily to variable conditions. Its LED illuminated reticle system is adjustable and features 10 settings; seven for daytime and three for night vision equipment.
Particularly effective with Trijicon's unique MOA-scale and patentpending MIL-scale reticles, the Trijicon TARS was developed to meet the unique high-performance needs of long-range military/law enforcement shooters, and competition shooters, as well as hunters who stalk long-rage game.
Running on a long-lasting lithium CR2032 battery, it provides reliable power to the LED illuminated reticle. The external adjusters have a locking mechanism, preventing unintentional adjuster rotation — assuring the Trijicon TARS will always be ready to shoot on target. Trijicon's patent-pending absolute zero technology allows a reliable return to zero, every time.
The Trijicon TARS is available in two adjuster/reticle configurations, MOA and MIL. In either case, the reticle and adjusters are measured utilizing the same units — making quick target adjustments much easier.

Strong The Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) is the toughest red dot sight on the market today but still offers an amazing combination of lighting quick target acquisition and precision aiming. The RMR is available in three models. The first model utilizes an innovative high efficiency LED and adjusts the aiming point brightness automatically. The second model also features a high efficiency LED and has automatic and manual brightness controls. return policy Please return all items to place of purchase. If you purchased the item directly from Trijicon, Inc. you must call for a Trijicon Return Authorization Number (RAN). Products cannot be returned for credit after six months from purchase date. Items being returned for credit must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice or purchase order for each item listed in the return for credit. There will be a 20% restocking fee on returned merchandise.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY Trijicon warrants that products manufactured by Trijicon will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. Trijicon will repair or replace (at our option) the registered product. This warranty does not apply to defects caused by anything which is deemed abnormal, abusive, or improper including any fault resulting from an accident or improper service. This warranty specifically applies to the optical systems and metal structure of the product and does not apply to the illumination system. TARS™, Battery ACOG®, SRS®, RMR® (LED and Adjustable LED Versions): Electronics are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal use for a period of five (5) years from date of original manufacture. AccuPin™ Bow Sight: The tritium lamp is warranted to glow for twelve (12) years in the bow sight from date of original manufacture. ACOG® Crossbow Scope, ACOG®, Reflex, RMR® (Dual-Illuminated Version), AccuPoint® and TriPower®: The tritium lamp is warranted to glow for fifteen (15) years in fiber optic scopes and ten (10) years in non-fiber optic scopes from date of original manufacture. Bright & Tough™ Night Sights and HD™ Night Sights: The tritium lamp is warranted to glow for five (5) years for orange night sights, twelve (12) years in green and yellow night sights SPECIAL NOTE: Many Trijicon PRODUCTS CONTAIN TRITIUM AND ARE REGULATED BY THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION. THEY MAY NOT BE DISASSEMBLED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN TRIJICON, INC WHICH HOLDS THE NECESSARY LICENSES. Any attempt at disassembly or repair will annul this warranty.
