Ted Baker is passionate about creating beautiful lifestyle products with intricate details. If you share our love of fashion and have a proven in-depth understanding of testing and compliance regulations, this position could be for you. You would be working within the Production department, developing Ted’s in-season testing and compliance program across Men’s wear, Women’s wear and Accessories. You will need to be an excellent communicator in order to clearly explain technical testing requirements to multiple stakeholders internally and externally. Reporting to: The Production Director, Senior Head of Production Operations, Heads of Production, Production Managers and the Brand Protection and Facilitator Manager. Main Responsibilities: 

Keeping abreast of new chemical regulations and legal requirements and updating the Ted Baker MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substance List) when required.



Ensuring that Ted Baker’s supplier base is up to date with the latest information on Testing/Compliance.



Working closely with our nominated testing houses on maintaining and refining the Ted Baker MRSL and Testing Specifications.



Overseeing the company’s in-season testing program; working closely with teams in all departments to monitor budgets and performance.



Conduct testing team meetings, provide guidance to delegates and update managers with progress.



Test Report analysis and team guidance.



Deliver product testing training to new production team members.



Research and update testing and labeling requirements, to ensure compliance in all global territories.



Provide regular testing updates and reports.



Attending new season product risk assessments, providing testing guidance and selecting high risk products for spot checks.

Tools of the Trade…..    

Experience in a similar testing and compliance position. Thorough knowledge of REACH, PROP 65 and Chinese regulations within the Fashion industry. Intermediate level – Microsoft Office programmes. CIMS, AX and PLM systems (full training will be given).
