BWSC Fall Bowling Pin League

Dates: The BWSC Bowling Pin League will consist of 6 dates on Wednesdays posted on the indoor and outdoor range counters as well as on the BWSC website. A Pot Luck banquet will be held the Wednesday following the last shoot date for presentation of awards and raffle prizes.

Fees: All shooters will pay an initial signup fee of $15, which will go into the prize pool at the end of the league. Each week, shooters will pay $10 for the first run and $5 for each additional run. Shooters may fire as many runs as they wish in an effort to improve their score, within the allotted time; the best time will be counted.

Classes: Shooters will be divided into two classes; Optic and open sights. Both classes require a centerfire handgun.

Safety: All basic safety rules will be observed. Firearms on the indoor range may only be taken out of their cases inside the shooting booth, when it is the person’s turn to shoot. Violation of safety rules will result in removal from the range and a “0” score for the week.

Course of Fire: The course of fire will be different each week and will be posted the week prior. The only constant will be the amount of shots a shooter is allotted to try and knock down all the pins. Each shooter will have 20 shots per run and will be timed.

Positions: All shooting will be done from the standing unsupported position, unless otherwise specified.

Banks and Make Ups: Participants will not be able to make up or bank any scores. The shooter must be present in order to submit a score.

Equipment Rules: The use of equipment like shooting gloves and eye pals are encouraged, but not required. With the purchase of BWSC ammunition, BWSC firearms may be used, for free, if needed.

Scoring: Shooters will draw a number each night which will determine who they are competing against that week. Matchups will remain anonymous until scores are posted the next day.

Prizes: The top shooter in each class will receive awards. All other prizes will be awarded by raffle at the Bowling Pin League banquet.
