SCOPE OF WORK: The Work consists of renovation of an existing structure including demolition of approximately 1,000 SF of street frontage, the rebuilding of the front elevation within the setback, the infill of approx. 1,000 SF of existing porch area and the construction of 850 SF of mechanical mezzanine including all related plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. Total gross area is 10,238 SF. Site development includes re-grading of parking area, repaving, curb & gutter, fencing, gates and landscape planting. The Project is located at 1222 Statesville Ave., Charlotte, NC. Estimated Cost: The estimated cost of this project is $1.8 Million Dollars Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP) Goal: (11%) Performance and Payment Bonds: Performance and Payment bonds will be required prior to issuance of a Notice to Proceed for this Project. E-Verify: E-Verify Work Authorization Form shall be required at bid opening. Substitutions: Requests for substitutions will only be entertained if they are e-mailed and submitted by a General Contractor who has purchased the bid documents. Contractor’s License: Bidders shall comply with all applicable laws regulating to the practice of Contracting as required by the General Statutes of North Carolina that require the Bidder to be licensed by the North Carolina Licensing Board for Contractors when bidding on this project. Additionally, Bidders shall comply with all applicable laws and must have proper licenses under the state laws governing their respective trades at the time of bid opening.
