An Exciting Opportunity for Grade 6-12 Teachers Would you like your students to be:  engaged in a service project that gives meaning to their learning?  involved in an environmental education project that serves your community? Develop an environmental education service learning project with your students. Write up and submit your proposal by October 1, 2012.

Your school/district may win a grant for $2,000 – $5,000 to fund your project

See the Request for Proposals for Project SITE: Students Involved with Their Environment. This grant is funded through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and is open to schools in high-need districts in the four-state region of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Project SITE is managed by The Teaching Research Institute, Western Oregon University.
