POSITION DESCRIPTION: CHILDREN’S MINISTRY PREP COORDINATOR PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION The Prep Coordinator oversees all aspects material preparation for children ages birth through 5th grade. This individual must be relational, organized and passionate for Children’s Ministry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Catalogs, maintains and manages supply resources and storage for the entirety of the Children’s Ministry Prepares all bins for Wednesdays and Sundays Schedules and oversees adult volunteers that assist throughout the week in preparing supplies for teachers, small groups or special events Create a weekly communication piece to convey information to volunteers Generates copies of curriculum as needed Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned Ensure all bins and carts are distributed to appropiate classroom at least 1 hour before needed

KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS • Team player • Ability to build relationships with volunteers • Ability to communicate promptly and effectively • Reliable and a self-starter • Detail oriented • Flexible and able work under pressure • Champion of the church staff culture • Computer Literate

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent (some college or college degree is a plus)
