ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS HEADPHONES FOR iPAD2

You are invited to submit quotes to the Jordan School District (JSD) relating to Headphones for iPad2. The quote will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. Responsiveness to the quote will be established only if the quote meets the following requirements: All information requested must be completed and submitted electronically by Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. (MST). When submitting a quote electronically through BidSync, please allow sufficient time to complete the online forms and upload documents. The solicitation will end at the closing time listed on BidSync. If you are in the middle of uploading your quote at the closing time, the system will stop the process and your quote will not be received by the system. If the required information is not submitted in a timely manner, the quote will be deemed non-responsive. Vendors must respond in each and every area as specified in the quote documents, such as pricing, etc. Each bidder shall submit only one quote. Alternate or multiple quotes from a single bidder are prohibited. On any item where multiple quotes are submitted, that item may be deemed non-responsive. PRICES: All prices must be FOB destination, Freight Prepaid, unless otherwise indicated for 34 school locations in Jordan School District. Prices shall NOT include tax. All prices should be rounded to the nearest cent. Any early payment discounts offered to the Jordan School District are encouraged. Discounts shown may be evaluated as part of the quote award. Discounts offered for fewer than 10 working days will not be acceptable. All inquiries relative to this quote will be answered through BidSync. No other Jordan School District employee, Board Member, or evaluation committee member should be contacted concerning this quote during the

selection process. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of the District. SAMPLE: Each sample must be available for evaluation within three (3) days after request by the Jordan School District. Each sample will be tested to determine if it meets the specifications and works with the iPad2. A quote is non-responsive if the product evaluation fails to meet these specifications. If quoting on a headphone not listed under the acceptable brand, please submit a specification sheet. Any manufacturer’s name, trade name, brand name or catalog number used in these specifications are for illustrative purposes to provide a model describing general performance and quality levels only. Such references are not intended to be restrictive, and quotes are invited on these and comparable brands or products by any manufacturer. Any specification provided with use of manufacturer’s name, trade name, brand name or catalog number shall control and take precedence over such manufacturer information. However, in the absence of a specification, the manufacturer’s name, trade name, brand name or catalog number shall establish the general performance and quality levels acceptable to the District. All items will be evaluated on an “acceptable substitute” basis unless stated otherwise. The orders Jordan School District will submit to the successful bidder will be for 34 purchase orders to 34 various locations zip codes ranging from 84088, 84084, 84065, 84081, 84095 and 84096. Thirteen (13) of the elementary schools receiving 62 headphones each (806 total,) twenty (20) of the elementary schools receiving 124 headphones each (2480 total)and one (1) special school receiving 5 headphones each (total 5). The 34 purchase orders will be issued at one time with combined quantities totaling up to 3291 listed on BidSync. Products may or may not be purchased according to District budget.
