Can distilled water be used with the unit? a. Yes, but it is not necessary. Distilled water will allow you to clean the unit less frequently. The T/Pumps are designed for use with regular tap water.

Can I go directly from cooling to warming therapy? a. No. You will need to empty the cold water and ice from the reservoir and refill it with ambient temperature tap water to the heat wave fill line before beginning the warming therapy cycle.

Will ice ever get into the pad? a. Ice, crushed or cubed, will never get into the pad. Ice floats and the water intake are located at the bottom of the reservoir.
