Reports To: FINANCE MANAGER

An Human Resource Specialist must possess the ability to perform the following: The Human Resource Specialist handles and provides support for various Office, Administrative and Human Resource functions within the Company. Office. 

Receives and directs visitors through the main entrance.



Answers and directs incoming telephone calls through the main system. Administrative.



Provides data entry support to the Finance department, including Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and Job Closing. New employee onboarding.



Covers all items listed on the New Employee Checklist while onboarding new employees.



Reviews enrollment forms for accuracy and coordinates enrollment with thirdparty administrator.



Ensures compliance with COBRA guidelines by preparing letters and other paperwork as directed.



Coordinates health, life and disability insurance enrollments and communicates with service providers concerning routine administration of programs. Human Resource function.



Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.



Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.



Prepares paperwork required to place employees on payroll and establishes personnel file.



Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on the website, and other known locations. Reviews resumes, performs interviews and reference check as required.



Maintains the employee handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed. Training and Employee Development.



Coordinates company’s ongoing training and development initiatives or programs.



Keeps records of employee training or development in personnel files and main data base. Other.



Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, EPICOR and other business related software’s.



Possess a basic understanding of ISO 9001:2000, AS9100 requirements.



Is able to understand and adhere to Alliance Machine’s Core Values.



Does work as apparent or assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Advanced training as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent. 1 year minimum as an Administrative Assistant. 1 year minimum as a Human Resource Specialist in a related industry. Ability to operate in a professional office environment. Occasional bending or lift to 30 pounds.
