Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church

Have you heard that Bruce and Kate sold their home and are moving into a condo out on RB road? Yep, it’s true. Kate and I signed a year lease for a nice three bedroom condo and we move in on September 7.We downsized from a huge house with approximately 12,000 pounds of possessions to 4,000 pounds that we kept and had the movers haul for us. Of course, that means this summer has been crazy.Transition and change is never easy. At least it hasn’t been for us. Increased stress levels always puts pressure on a marriage. The good news is that we pulled through it quite well. Only one minor skirmish/argument (resolved with tears and hugs, apologies and repair in less than a half hour). Our church staffing is in transition as well. This summer we began aligning our staffing with the vision we have been growing into over the last few years. The vision phrase:“Jesus transforms us so that we can help change the world,” is now intentionally reinforced by staffing our church under three primary categories of ministry. We are staffed to emphasize how we “become disciples, grow relationships, and serve everywhere.” This fall is a season of transition as we move with intentionality toward being the church God calls us to be. Get ready for some transitions. www.rbcpc.org/transitions. Pastor Bruce
