Thousands of potential new home owners are floundering without this critical information and unable to truly recover from their real estate hangover. Learn to communicate the process and identify ways of removing major road blocks that may be preventing buyers from qualifying for a mortgage.

NEW! The Art of Pricing and Listing $39 | 4 Credit Hours Sellers and buyers look to you as the expert. Once you have a listing, you need to market yourself and the property. We will explore listing descriptions, media choices, and legal considerations when marketing properties. We’ll include discussions regarding social media and blogging to provide you with a variety of approaches.

Virtual Brokerage: How to Do It $39 | 4 Credit Hours

Houses: From the Ground Up

$29 | 4 Credit Hours

$59 | 8 Credit Hours

With a new birth occurring every eight seconds, America will expand to 400 million people within 40 years. Today, the average American moves every five years. To remain competitive, agents must be attuned to the rich diversity of our population. This is your chance to develop the understanding and insights to connect with individuals across a wide range of markets.

There are many challenges to helping others find suitable housing. One of the biggest is to effectively answer simple questions about housing structure and condition. That’s why we’ve put together this special OnDemand video course. In it, you’ll learn the language of houses and how they are built—plain and simple.

You’ll review the vast array of buyers and seller active in today’s market as well as the future. This course focuses on helping you understand what is important to them, their resources, and how they make decisions. You’ll look at the unique traits of four groups: Matures, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers, and Millenials. As over 23 percent of sales are to single women, you’ll learn about the increasing importance niche markets hold within each generation – and what they suggest for the future. This is a compelling course you won’t want to miss.

Buying Within Your Budget $29 | 4 Credit Hours Over half of all American households cannot sustain their monthly financial obligations without available credit to cover emergencies. The dramatic decline of real estate values, the elimination of second mortgages, and reduced access to available credit of any kind have forced many consumers to a place they have never been. Big changes come from small steps. In this course, you’ll learn how to create a plan and follow through with it to achieve financial freedom. Many people want to save more, but don’t know where to start or lack restraint to stop spending. Just because your clients qualify for a certain loan amount doesn’t mean they can afford it. Clients who understand how to budget correctly can make effective and smart decisions when making any purchase, including home buying. Learn how to live on what you earn!

Our dynamic instructors take you from the classroom right into the structural workings of a house. This highly visual instruction helps you find the answers to the questions about the product you sell. From the foundation to the rooftop, you will explore everything in between.

Introduction to Real Estate Investments $59 | 8 Credit Hours Investors are discovering that tax, cash flow, principal reduction, and appreciation benefits of single- and multi-family properties outweigh other investment opportunities, including the wildly vacillating stock market. This course can open the door for you to the lucrative investment real estate market. If you are unfamiliar with selling residential real estate as an investment, you’ll get a step-by-step understanding of the fundamentals you need to get started. You’ll learn how real estate compares to nonreal estate investments. You’ll discover how to package hard-to-sell listings to your existing customer base. You’ll learn to identify additional sources of financing, as well as techniques for using commission dollars to build up your own investment portfolio.

You are not responsible for a full inspection (a home inspector is), but since you have exposure to the home, there is an obligation to disclose what you see. Red flags always cause negotiations and can threaten sales, but they can be especially troublesome in a buyer’s market, when buyers can afford to be picky about many issues.
