REDPOINT DATA MANAGEMENT SETUP CHECKLIST (AZURE MARKETPLACE) In Local Services > Stop > “RedPointDM Version 8 Web Service” In Local Services > Stop > “RedPointDM Version 8 Site Service” In Local Services > Stop > “RedPointDM Version 8 Execution Service” Open a Command Prompt > type hostname > Enter In Windows Explorer navigate to “C:\Program Files\RedPointDM8” Right-hand click “ExecutionServerCfg” > choose Edit Update rpdm-offer” replacing the value “rpdm-offer” to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt Update “rpdm-offer” replacing the value “rpdm-offer” to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt Update “rpdm-offer” replacing the value “rpdm-offer” to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt then save. In Local Services > Start > “RedPointDM Version 8 Web Service” In Local Services > Start > “RedPointDM Version 8 Site Service” In Local Services > Start > “RedPointDM Version 8 Execution Service” On the desktop, double-click the icon “RedPointDM 8 Client” • Hostname: the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt • Port: 20410 • User name: Administrator • Password: Administrator • Security: Automatic • Execution Server: drop-down to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt When the “Define initial temporary directory” pop-up appears, Click > Configure Later When the “Client is not licensed for design” pop-up appears, Click > OK Navigate to View > Management > Licensed Features Copy the Server ID listed to the section above labeled “RPDM Server ID:” Navigate to Windows Device Manager > Expand Processors > Enter the number of Processors in the section above labeled “Number of Cores:” Send an email containing this completed for form to [email protected] & [email protected] in order to request a license for use
