REDPOINT DATA MANAGEMENT SETUP CHECKLIST (AZURE MARKETPLACE) In Local Services > Stop > “RedPointDM Version 7 Execution Service” In Local Services > Stop > “RedPointDM Version 7 Site Service” Open a Command Prompt > type hostname > Enter In Windows Explorer navigate to “C:\Program Files\RedPointDM7” Right-hand click “ExecutionServerCfg” > choose Edit Update RPDM” replacing the value “RPDM” to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt Update “RPDM” replacing the value “RPDM” to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt Update “RPDM” replacing the value “RPDM” to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt In Local Services > Start > “RedPointDM Version 7 Execution Service” In Local Services > Start > “RedPointDM Version 7 Site Service” On the desktop, double-click the icon “RedPointDM 7 Client” • Hostname: the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt • Port: 20400 • User name: Administrator • Password: Administrator • Security: Automatic • Execution Server: drop-down to the server name reported by hostname at the command prompt When the “Define initial temporary directory” pop-up appears, Click > Configure Later When the “Client is not licensed for design” pop-up appears, Click > OK Navigate to View > Management > Licensed Features Copy the Server ID listed to the section above labeled “RPDM Server ID:” Navigate to Windows Device Manager > Expand Processors > Enter the number of Processors in the section above labeled “Number of Cores:” Send an email containing this completed for form to [email protected] & [email protected] in order to request a license for use
